KORNREICH, Carmen, 87 of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010. She was born in Cayey, Puerto, Rico and moved to Florida in 1985. Carmen served in the US Army in the Women’s Army Corps Medical Detachment. She volunteered at the James A. Haley Veteran Hospital in Tampa and was a member of the Lion’s Club. As an adult, she earned a Bachelor’s degree and went on to teach English to children as a second language. Carmen is preceded in death by her husband, Herman, her son-in-law, Timothy Lanzone and great grandson, Sebastian Kornreich. She is survived by her son, Ron Kornreich and his wife, Lyn of Waldorf, MD; daughter, Lynn Lanzone and Joe Cleary of Land O’ Lakes; four grandchildren, James Kornreich and his wife, Diane, Melissa More` and her husband, Steve, Tim Lanzone and John Kornreich and two great granddaughters, Destiny and Aurora Kornreich. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to C.A.R.E.S. of Pasco County. Graveside services will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Friday, February 12th at 2:00 p.m.
