Obituary of Tracy Elizabeth Frederick

Tracy Elizabeth (Gallagher) Frederick of Tampa, FL, age 53, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2024 after a fierce battle with cancer.

Tracy was a gentle soul whose caring nature touched everyone she knew. Her journey through life was marked by her infectious laughter, brilliant sense of humor, boundless energy, and her unwavering commitment to her family and friends. Tracy made and nurtured enduring friendships all along the way. She was a beacon of light and warmth in the lives of those she touched.

Born on July 28, 1970, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Tracy grew up in Ringwood, NJ and was a graduate of DePaul High School (Class of '88). She attended Saint Leo University (Class of '92) where she was an active member of the AOP sorority. After graduation she settled in Tampa, Florida.

Tracy's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and joy. She celebrated 21 years of marriage with her devoted husband Rich Frederick whose partnership was a testament to enduring love and mutual respect. Together, they raised a wonderful daughter Alannah Frederick, now 17, who reflects Tracy's strength, kindness, and zest for life.

Tracy was predeceased by her father, William Gallagher. She is survived by her loving family: her mother Carol J. Gallagher; her brothers, Glenn Gallagher (Susan) and Kevin Gallagher (Rayo); her sister, Lee Ann Gallagher (Ed); and her cherished nieces, Sophia and Karina Gallagher. Each family member carries a piece of Tracy's indomitable spirit in their hearts.

As we bid farewell to Tracy, we celebrate the extraordinary life she lived and the countless ways she enriched our lives. Her legacy will continue to inspire us, and her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.
