Obituary of John P. Deal

John Perry Deal, 83, passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday November 10, 2023. He is survived by his wife Marianne Deal, daughter Shannon Deal, son Rick Deal, granddaughter Gabby Bouchard (Mark), Helen Niemcewicz sister, Carolyn Deal and many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by both parents, and one brother and sister, David Atkins (Grace) and Jeanette Jacobs (sister) and other family members. 

John was a lifelong resident of Tampa and moved to Wesley Chapel after retirement. He retired from the Tampa Police Department as an officer with 20 years of service and two years in the Army as military police. He was married for 59 years to Marianne, they traveled the US in their RV, and traveled the world cruising. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, diving, traveling, and playing golf.  He had many friends who he enjoyed playing the game he loved. His family was his biggest joy, he was a kind and loving man with a huge heart, and loved to laugh, he loved like no other.
