Edna Hubert Poche

September 26^th 1939 – March 28^th 2024

Edna Hubert Poche’ 84 years old of Wesley Chapel, Florida, formerly of Miami, Florida, passed away peacefully in her home March 28^th 2024. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on September 26^th 1939. Upon moving to Miami in 1967 she took a job with Delta Airlines as a reservation agent for many years. After leaving Delta she became an insurance agent.

Edna had a love of Arabian horses which she shared with her daughter Leslie. Together they bred several Egyptian Event winners including the 2008 Supreme Champion Mare.

Edna is survived by her daughter Leslie Poche’ Tillman, her son-in-law John Tillman, sister Patricia Hubert Pizzuto, brother-in-law J.C. Pizzuto, Jr., and sister Mary Hubert Cherry. She is preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Lucille Hubert, and sister Kathleen Hubert Johnson. Graveside service to be held at Roselawn Cemetery in Baton Rouge, LA. Saturday, April 13^th 2024 at 12:00 noon.
